1 - Just Hold On by Kitty Cox
Sometimes the best way to hold on is to let go.
Smart mouthed, pig headed, and the best bull rider in Missouri, I'm following in my father's footsteps. He named me after his rodeo heroes, Cody and Lane, hoping I'd become a legend like they were. There's only one little problem.
Girls aren't supposed to ride bulls.
That's never stopped me before, though. Riding in the PBR is my chance to get out of my small town. It's the one shot I have for a better life. If I want to change my future, then the only way that's going to happen is if I can make a check big enough to buy me a new life.
I expected hazing. What I didn't expect was the making out in hotel rooms, stealing kisses behind the chutes, and sweet smiles in the arena. The guy keeping the bulls off me is clearly on my side. The rider I've idolized for years is hitting on me. Then there's J.D. Adkins. That man is trouble, and everyone knows it, but he calls me his rookie.
There has to be a catch, and I'm waiting for the manure to hit the fan. I just need to stay focused and - more importantly - keep my head down. Because in this sport, the pranks are the kind that can be fatal. If I want that better life, I need to make sure I hold on for all eight seconds.
The question is what I want to hold on to.

Our Review -

A female bull rider takes center stage as she climbs the ranks in her first professional competition. She faces challenges head-on with resilience, pride, and determination. Cody Lane is truly remarkable, and her three rivals—Tanner, J.D., and Ty—are solidly in her corner, standing up against those who doubt her and her own insecurities. This book is fantastic, and the author has done an excellent job. We are excited to dive into more of this series and follow Cody and her crew on their adventures. The story also touches on some important real-world issues in a subtle way. We can’t wait to see how Cody, Ty, J.D., and Tanner tackle these challenges and gradually make a difference in their world. Everyone enjoys a relatable story, and we really value plots that show characters putting in the effort rather than just falling into a fantasy romance. Relationships require work, and that effort multiplies with more people involved. Cody is a fierce competitor who doesn’t take any nonsense. Her guys are both sexy and protective, yet they allow her to take the lead. We are eagerly anticipating the next installment!
2 - The Blackened Blade by Isla Davon
Not many people get a second chance, let alone a second life.

I died. Burnt in a prison cell I spent years of my life rotting away in.

I had been beaten, battered, and bruised beyond repair...but not broken. Never broken.

By whatever miracle, I've been brought back ten years into my past and before I was locked away...

But to a different kind of hell… Wensridge Academy. A place filled with only memories of pain and suffering.

This time, I'll break the wheel of misfortune and with it, all the people who caused my suffering and death.

This time I'll have the life I should have always had.
3 - Honey Trap by Tate James
Honeytrap (noun) - a stratagem in which an attractive person entices another person into revealing information or doing something unwise.
Those who have reached a certain level within the mercenary guild, know that it’s not merely a job. It isn’t a hobby or a career or a fun pastime. It’s a calling. A fucking honor.

Being in the Guild is our life.... Or death.

Not everyone is created equal, and not everyone is truly cut out for the work we do. It’s not pretty, it's not glamorous, and it’s sure as shit not moral or good. The weight of the sins we carry can become too much for some, and they crack.

When they do, they become a threat.

No one quits the Guild. Not really. Either they cut a deal to make themselves useful in another capacity, or they get eliminated.

But who, you might ask, can kill a killer?

Who scares the boogeyman into running and hiding?

Men like me.

The Guild is my life. My love. My very existence.

Anyone who poses a threat to that, is eliminated. No questions, no hesitations, no mercy.
Until her.
4 - Whisper Waves by Blake Black
Your deceased loved ones are only a whisper away.

They are still here, still with you, even though you cannot see them.

Unlike you, I can see them just fine.

People call me weird, crazy even, but I only want to help the souls who are trapped in between and the loved ones they leave behind. Until my good intentions get me locked away and leave me broken and traumatized. So much so that I swear to never talk to a spirit again.

A road trip through the country—driving away from a home that has nothing left for me—and a night spent in the arms of tequila, help me find myself in the embrace of a strong and handsome fisherman with ocean blue eyes.

The same ocean blue eyes his three brothers have, including the one who is a ghost. He needs my help, but can I leave the shadows of my shackles behind to ensure he will find the light?
5 - The Price We Pay by Auryn Hadley
Everyone wants to give in to temptation, but no one wants to pay the price.
I was a child when my father surrendered me to the Temple of All Gods. No one gave me a choice. No one even bothered to explain. I was simply tossed aside, unwanted.
That was the day the God of Temptation claimed me as his.
Now, I'm studying how to become the perfect priestess. Life in the temple means embracing my emotions and learning to harness each type of desire. Power, fear, lust, and rage are the most common, but not the only ones. Each has a power. Each has its place. I just have to figure out which kind of priestess I'll become.
Before I decide, I have questions - yet no one seems willing to give me answers. My only option is to leave it in my god's hands. This won't be easy, and my instructors think I'm a fool, but Temptation has been listening. Asking. Offering it all.
In exchange, he intends to use me.
I have demands. The priest and priestess who took me in have become my family. The guys? They taught me to love. How am I supposed to give this up? Why should I? Not even a god can make me walk away from them! All I have to do is stand my ground.
In this temple, there's always a temptation.
The question is if I'm stubborn enough to resist...
Or brave enough to pay a god's price.
6 - Caged Wolf by Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti
What do you do when the man you’ve loved since you were fourteen is sent to the most dangerous prison in Solaria for saving your life?
Okay, so maybe he doesn’t love me back. And maybe getting sent down would seem insane to some, butI’m Rosalie Oscura, alpha werewolf from the infamous Oscura Clan. My family wrote the book on criminal organisations, and I’ll be ruling this place by the time the next moon rises.
Then I just need to work on busting us the hell out of here. ‘Us’ being me, the lion shifter I’ve loved for ten long years, and the most notorious criminal in here - a sinful incubus who’s been condemned to isolation for committing an unspeakable crime.
What’s the worst that could happen? I mean, short of being rejected by the black-hearted werewolf who rules over my sworn enemies, or getting myself noticed by the sinister vampire guard who has a dark vendetta against me. But how likely is that?
The trouble is, I need the help of those four alpha males to escape this place. And they happen to hate each other almost as much as they hate me.
But I always did love a challenge. So how hard could it be to make them accept me as their leader?
7 - F*ckboy Psychos by C.M. Stunich
Whoa, there. Stop right now. You don’t want to read this.
Trust me: you really, really don’t want to read this. So back away slowly, hands up, and I won’t have to kill you.
They might, though. They might be willing to warm my bed, but I wouldn’t say I trusted them. Just a bunch of psychos, really.
My three f*ckboys, my three psychos.
Alexei Grove. God, what could I possibly say about him? How the mighty have fallen. Neurotic, violent, germaphobe. He hates to be touched; he hates the people who brought his family down even more.
Next, there’s Widow. Traumatized, edgy, unpredictable. Never have I seen a man so twitchy yet so alpha. Just … don’t make the mistake I did: don’t touch his f*cking car.
Lastly, there’s Bohnes. Oh, Bohnes … He’s the shadow of Prescott High. If you have enough cash, he’ll do anything. Literally anything—even bury a body. Also, he gave me severed fingers as a present. That must account for something, right?
Then there’s me.
I’m a boss-a** b*tch: I race cars and I always win.
Rule is: if I can ride it, I can win it. What I can’t do is protect you.
So, here’s my final warning: run, don’t walk.
Better yet: ride. Ride hard, ride fast, and don’t look back.
If you see my boys in the rearview, it’s already too late.
Love, Scarlett Motherf*cking Force
8 - 7th Circle by Tate James
Five years ago, I masterminded the infamous massacre of the Tri-state Timberwolves.

The streets outside the Wolves HQ ran red with the blood of the old guard, and not one of those members loyal to my father were spared mercy. Not a single one.

I let the media twist and distort the story. My new recruits eagerly proved themselves in spreading false news, in covering our tracks. To the general public, the Tri-State Timberwolves were extinct.

But that couldn’t have been further from the truth. We changed, we grew, we evolved and came out stronger than ever. Now, I live, eat, sleep, and breathe Timberwolves. I’ll do anything to keep my empire safe and thriving. To keep the people depending on me safe.

So, what do I do when it’s my own weakness that places us all in danger? When I let sex cloud my judgment and my people pay the price?

Simple. Kill the distractions.

I’m called Hades for a reason, after all.
9 - The Witchwood Boys are Trending by C.M. Stunich
They tricked me into a dark and unholy union.
Three bastards in witch hats, leather pants, and iron masks.
These supernatural stalkers have claimed me for their coven.
They won’t go away. These assholes will. not. leave.
All because I fell for an urban legend:
Touch the Witch’s Tree on a moonless night and discover magic.
Wholesome magic like: kinky rituals, blood sacrifice, and jizz potions.
Oh, and a forest god who eats people—while they’re still alive and screaming.
Send help, and I’ll send cupcakes.
10 - Find Me by Ashley N. Rostek
One year ago…
My family is gone. My parents. My twin sister. All of them murdered by the man who has stalked me for years. He nearly killed me, too. But I got away and he’s still out there, searching for me. He won’t find me. At least, I hope not. Thanks to WITSEC, I’ve been given a new life with a new identity.
The present…
My uncle, my only living relative, has helped me glue myself back together and given me the tools I’ll need to survive. I’m not fixed and my grief is heavy, but I’m at a point where I can put one foot in front of the other to try to move on.
I know my future will be hard and lonely. I must stay strong and focus on the good. I’m getting a second chance at life. I am safe. My new home is beautiful. The four brothers who live next door are even more so. Little do I know that Colt, Creed, Keelan, and Knox will soon become my everything. It’s as if my lonely heart screamed out for someone good to find me. Four answered back.
11 - Dance Butterfly Dance by Reese Rivers
Savy’s got secrets that she’ll never tell.
A nobody, a nothing, all alone, she’s in hell
They walk past her, ignore her, like she’s not even there
When all she ever wanted was someone to care
No one sees her until she steps into that cage
She flutters her wings and plays her part on a stage
She hides behind her mask and dances to their tune,
terrified of the day that her secrets will bloom
When the mask is ripped away, and they rage at the lie,
the Butterfly finally stops dancing
and will learn how to fly
12 - Mason by Leila James
Nothing they’ll do can hurt me. I’m already broken.
When my stepfather dumps me off at Bainbridge Hall, I can tell I’m in trouble. At the mercy of the brotherhood, I’m forced by my mother’s husband to follow their every command.
I should run. Far, far away.
From the moment I arrive, these bastards test me. Every time they push, another piece of my past trauma is exposed. But I’m stronger than they think I am, and I’ve learned the hard way the only person I can count on is me.
One brooding artist. One football god. And one hate-fueled stepbrother.
Mason.
Bear.
Duke.
The plan is simple. Keep my head down and focus on getting the college degree I so desperately want. But this house is not what it seems, and every door I open reveals a memory I had buried deep, things I had willed myself to forget.
Bainbridge Hall. Where the bastards are beautiful, and my nightmares become reality.
13 - Peyton's Path by S.M. Olivier
My name is Peyton, and I have a charmed life. I live in a beautiful mansion on top of a hill and want for nothing. My father’s successful, and my mother’s devoted to seeing me and my siblings succeed… Oh, wait…that’s not my life at all. That’s my half-sister’s life.
Until recently, I had no family, aside from my mom and dad. My life consisted of secrets, escape, two best friends, and most importantly, dance. But when my mom drops a bombshell on me, that we’re moving to her hometown hours away, all the secrets come out, including the fact that the man who I’ve called dad my whole life, is really my uncle.
So now it’s a new school, new life, new town. And let me tell you, this town hates me. My life has never been a bed of roses, to begin with, but being here? It’s hell. My best friends are far away, my dance career is on hold, and the family drama is movie-worthy. The only thing that’s worth getting up for in the morning is my new friends, a group of guys who have made it their mission to put me under their wing. They bring me into their circle, determined to protect me and help me on my new path.
But sometimes, we get in our own way. Sometimes, you can’t walk alone.
Sometimes, the only way to live your life is to lean on the ones who love you.
14 - The Lost and the Chosen by Ivy Asher
My name is Vinna, and I've been keeping a lot of secrets.

You would too if you'd experienced some of the weird shit I have: red-eyed monsters chasing me, markings on my body appearing out of nowhere, a strange power that crackles colorfully over my skin from time to time, and don't get me started on the weapons I can conjure up almost out of nowhere.

Lucky for me, I have yet to meet someone whose ass I couldn't kick, inside the ring or out. I put that to the test when I run headfirst into a fight that brings all my secrets, and reality as I know it, crashing down around me. Now, I'm looking for answers and trying to piece together what the hell is going on. Paranormal is my new way of life. It's not going to be easy, and I'm not exactly welcome.
That is, until I meet the boys, and trust me, they are anything but boyish.

I'm up against elders who think I'm too powerful, a family who views me as a threat, and something lurking in the shadows that's been coming for me my whole life.

There's not a chance in hell I'm going down without a fight. I'm not lost anymore, and I'm about to show this world exactly what I can do.
15 - Toxic Creek by K.C. Kean
I had everything I ever wanted, until my life was flipped upside down. Now, I’m suddenly being forced to live in my parent’s hometown, with complete strangers.

Like my heart isn’t broken enough. Could I fall any further? Yes. Yes, I could.

Why might that be? The Allstars - Xavier Knight, Hunter Asheville, and Tobias Holmes - Asheville High’s prestigious star football players. They’re my worst nightmare. But damn...why do they have to be so mouth-wateringly hot? I mean, I’m sure there is more to them - I can see it in their eyes. They seem to think I’m breakable, but they obviously don’t know me at all. The Allstars have no idea what I’m dealing with, and I’m not above biting back.

I’m here out of a promise to my mother, but this damn town screws with you. Knight’s Creek welcomes you in, with its picture-perfect neighborhoods, making you think it’s safe, quaint, and wholesome. But in reality, this toxic town seeps into your soul and tears you apart. Now, I have no choice but to stay and piece myself back together. The second I graduate, I’m getting the hell out of here. In theory, it sounds simple, right?
16 - Seeking Asylum by S.M. Olivier
I was once an average college student with dreams of the Olympics. A better future had been within my grasp. I was weeks away from graduating from college, and I had just received my invitation to the National Team. Sure, I was still nursing a broken heart and coming to terms with the betrayal delivered to me at the hands of people I once trusted and loved dearly. However, things were finally looking up.
Or so I thought. The news began to report disturbing stories about a new virus. This virus was turning people. The infected became violent and attacking anybody and everybody.
My plans for a relaxing weekend with my friends and family turned into a nightmare. We were told to evacuate to Sanctuary. On our journey to safety, I run into old friends and find myself becoming attracted to them and their friends. I realized that even in the most harrowing of times, I could find solace and affection.
This may be a whole new world and life wasn’t going to return to normal anytime soon, if ever, but at least I had five men at my side to face it with.
17 - Descendant of Chaos by M. Sinclair
Stay away from mages.
It was a singular phrase my father had ingrained in me from the time of my birth. Sorry, dad. I have a feeling that is going to be a problem.
You have to understand… my life has been bland at best. Everything in my life, every single day, has been scripted, organized, and neat. Calm, cool, and collected. The problem? It wasn’t real. I wasn’t like the other witches in my father’s coven. I had a chaotic storm growing inside of me and the moment these mages stepped into the picture, it began to escape. The perfect image of my life shattered.
Everything seemed to pale in comparison to them. Their magic was exotic and powerful. Their pull on me nearly… well, magical. But what are these men hiding? Why are they in Seattle at my high school? More importantly, what in the heck do they want with me? I have a feeling nothing will ever be the same after meeting them. They say it only takes a singular moment to change everything. No one tells you what to do after!
18 - The Death Club by Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti
I’m a broken toy.
A daughter of destruction born of violent acts and brutal designs.
Nobody ever wanted me. Until they did.
Niall, Mateo, Jack.
The serial killer who bought me, the tortured man he keeps locked in his basement, and the wicked sinner I abandoned when I ran from my past.
They’re the kind of men with blood on their hands and the seven sins tainting their souls.
But my heart is as black as theirs, and I’m tempted by the dark in them.
I keep taking their punishments and relishing the pain, and a part of me isn’t even sure I want to escape.
Because in this house of heathens, I might have found a place for my inner demons to thrive.
19 - Start a War by Elle Thorpe
“Do you want some Goldfish crackers, Bliss?”
Those were the last words my brother said to me before he was shot execution style. A childhood code only he and I knew, and one that had a single, clear meaning behind it.
Run.
I’m not going anywhere. Not when his murderer is still out there.
To catch a killer, I put aside my life of money and luxury and take over the running of Psychos, a dive bar in the seedy underbelly of Saint View.
But Psychos delivers more than I ever could have bargained for and three men I never saw coming.
Nash, my brother’s best friend. Older and more experienced, he still remembers me as the neglected child he once saved.
War, heir to a biker gang throne and searching for the man who left his mother in a coma. Bonded over a common goal, he introduces me to a world of after-hours clubs, danger, and violence.
And Vincent, the quiet new guy nobody seems to see except me. He’s sweet and quirky, but there’s a darkness in him just waiting to be unleashed.
With every lie we uncover, every secret we expose, the danger mounts.
Until there’s only one thing we know for sure.
The killer is still out there.
And we’re his next targets.
20 - Burning Embers by Katie May
The only way to survive the flames is to become one with them.
Since my parents died when I was young, I’ve been bounced from foster home to foster home. Some have been great. Others…not so much.
My social worker, Amanda, assures me that this new home will be my final one.
New house. New school. New life.
Surprisingly enough, my foster parents are wonderful and my foster siblings have quickly become the family I thought I lost. And I know I’ll always have my best friend and secret crush, Grayson, by my side.
But everything changes when I arrive at my new school and capture the attention of the most popular guys.
Ashton, Reid, Emery, and Ethan rule the school with an iron fist, and almost immediately, they take me under their wing.
But my new friends are a little…odd. For starters, they like to sniff me way more often than should be normal. Secondly, they seem to be enemies with some of the other guys at school—including the attractive but emotionally unavailable class president, Ansel. And finally, they seemed to have claimed me as “theirs” even before we’ve had a conversation.
I’m beginning to realize that not everything in this town is as it seems. And if I hope to survive past graduation, I’ll need to figure out how to navigate this new world I’ve found myself in.
Or I might just burn like embers.
21 - Traitor Witch by Marie Mistry
My name is Nilsa.
I am the Shadow of the Moon.
A lunar witch.
A divine assassin.
And they will tell you that I am a traitor.
Framed for the murder of my own high priestess and with nowhere else to go, I'm forced to seek refuge amongst pirates. This mismatched crew of immortal males thinks I'm a solar witch; a harmless, goody-two-shoes, celibate priestess of life.
But it's hard to keep up the charade with a cursed fae, two broken shifters and an overprotective vampire tempting me at every turn.
It's even harder when I have to constantly restrain the urge to murder their asshole captain.
All I need to do is live long enough to exact vengeance and reclaim my place in my coven. There's no place for men in my life. Not even the siren haunting my dreams who claims I'm his mate.
22 - Black Onyx by Nikita Parmenter
The fae realm is notoriously dangerous, whereas most supernaturals don’t get thrown into the more dangerous side of fae life until they’re twenty-five thanks to her tyrant father, Farren’s been dealing with it since she was fifteen, brutally trained and punished; she knows her way around a blade.

Thanks to an incident that she very nearly didn’t survive, reprieve comes in the form of Black Onyx academy, which is used to train warriors and enforcers; it should be the break from her father that she needs.

Of course, life is never that simple put into a fated team that thinks she’s nothing more than a spoiled princess who got in using daddy’s money. She’s underestimated at every turn. Throw in assassination attempts, moody shadow casters, a blast from the past that has surprising connections and confusing feelings for her teammates, and nothing is as it appears. Life’s about to get a whole lot more complicated.
23 - Beyond the Faerie Gate by Marie Mistry
A secret kept, a queen hidden, and her warriors lost.
Afflicted by a mysterious and terrible illness that's haunted me since childhood, I’ve resigned myself to living life as a burden to my family. Until a fae knight comes to my village and tells me that everything I know is a lie.
It seems impossible, but he swears that I’m a fae queen, raised in the mortal realm for my own safety. And the time has come for me to return home to Faerie and rule.
Only my queendom isn’t what it once was. It’s fractured, divided, broken. And the men of my royal guard—a group of deadly and eccentric warriors sworn to protect me—have disappeared, scattered to the wind. I have to reunite them if I want to have any chance of surviving the war that has consumed the land, and the invaders at our gates.
24 - Devils' Day Party by C.M. Stunich
Hot bullies, busted cars, and the party of the year.
On an endless loop.
I don’t know how, but I’m living today over and over again.
Every year, the town of Devil Springs holds a celebration known as Devils’ Day.
There’s no magic, but there might as well be: we wear masks, we play tricks, we party hard.
Every year, the students of Crescent Reform School party the hardest.
They’re the lewdest, the most wanton, ribald, and lascivious.
Why shouldn’t they be? Our ultrarich prep school sits in the middle of the woods, a place for wealthy families to dump their black sheep.
Except for me.
My parents sacrificed everything they had to send me to Crescent Prep.
I can’t let Calix Knight, Barron Farrar, and Raz Loveren ruin that for me.
They’ve bullied me for years, and I’ve never known why.
At least today, they have something real to be pissed about.
I crashed my shitty yellow VW Beetle into Calix’s Aston Martin.
And somehow, someway, I keep waking up at the moment of the crash.
I can’t undo it; I can’t run from the Knight Crew.
My mantra has always been: this too shall pass.
But not today.
Not the worst day of my life.
25 - Just Drop Out by J Bree
After surviving foster care and a high school that breeds gang members and drug dealers I've finally found my path to freedom: emancipation and a full ride scholarship at the ultra-exclusive Hannaford Prep.
All I have to do is survive.
After attracting the wrong sort of attention from the richest boy in the country, pissing off the hottest guy in school and being humiliated in front of my favorite rock idol I am now the target of the most popular, and cruelest, group in the freshman class.
They want my blood.
They can have it.
I'm stronger than any spoilt rich kid.
But can I survive the game the Juniors have started with me as the goal? Now every boy at Hannaford wants to have me.
All except the three I want.
Ash, Harley, and Blaise don't care about the game, all they care about is destroying me.
26 - Storm the Gates by Elizabeth Dear
In Saint Gabriel City, there are the Four Families, and there are those who are owned by them.

The Spencers, the Hargraves, the Ferreros, and the Knights rule the City together with their exorbitant wealth and iron fists that no one dare challenge.

Each Family has an Heir, and they are raised together to one day assume control of their respective empires, trained to crush anyone who stands in their way under the heel of their unmeasurable power.

At least, there were Four Families, and there were four Heirs—until three of the Families banded together to murder the Knights in cold blood one fateful summer night.

Their daughter was only eleven years old.

And the other Heirs—three sons—were only twelve as they watched their best friend die on the floor of a soulless beige conference room next to her parents.

Seven years later, the remaining Heirs have taken their place at the ultra-exclusive Holywell Academy where the City’s elite strive to earn a coveted place in the Families’ kingdom by rubbing elbows with the exalted sons.

Only what Bennett Spencer, Noah Hargraves, and Zach Ferrero don’t know—what the Families have failed to realize after all these years—is that Jolie Knight didn’t die that night.

That little girl has been hiding just across the river, right under their noses.

That little girl is all grown up, and now she’s the Academy’s newest scholarship student.

That little girl is me, and I’m going to burn this City to the motherfucking ground.
27 - Web of Lies by Aly Beck
When I transferred to East Point Prep, I had one mission in mind: find the people responsible for murdering Magnolia. Someone within these entitled walls killed my only friend and threw her overboard like she was human trash.

Now, they’ll pay.

My best friend told me everything through weekly emails, leaving coded clues in her simple messages. I know every incident, and I have the names of her bullies—her murderers.

Seger, Chase, Zeppelin, Carter, and Ainsley.

Somehow everything gets twisted and turned around. Every piece of evidence turns to ash. Magnolia lied to me, and I have to unravel her words one piece at a time to understand the truth hidden within her code.

My pawns become my kings. The ones I once called my suspects turn into allies. They help me search for the invisible culprit slithering through the shadows.
The hunter becomes the hunted.
28 - Rogues of Regalia by Ruby Vincent
My sister was good, kind, loving, and the Royals of Regalia bullied her till she killed herself.
I set foot on campus ready to right some wrongs when the most handsome bunch of stone-cold weirdos asked if I needed a little help…
Don’t get me started on Lucien. He fancies himself a vampire—complete with sharpened canines, cape, and a coffin, but if anyone knows how to make a man bleed, it’s him.
Wilder’s on another level, and you’re not allowed. He’s out to expose every conspiracy from Area 51’s alien relocation program to the trackers implanted in our brains. The man doesn’t kiss a woman without patting her down twice, but if you need to get your hands on an arsenal, his is unmatched.
My growling, snapping Cato escaped his last mental institution. Now he has a new obsession: ripping out the throat of anyone who looks at me sideways. Don’t worry, he can’t bite you through the muzzle.
Then, of course, there’s their leader, Rafael. The son of a hitman dances his way around campus, and only takes his headphones off to hear the obscene amount you’ll pay him to take care of your problems. Otherwise, stay out of his blissful world, or he’ll blow it up with you inside.
These four are as determined to make up for not protecting my sister as they are to protect… and keep… me.
They’re freaks. Weirdos. Psychos. But damned if they’re not taking my heart like they do everything else—without mercy or permission.
It’s the five of us against the most powerful and untouchable of Regalia. No one thinks we can win, but I like my chances.
To take down a Royal, you need a Rogue.
And I have four.
29 - Losers by Harley Laroux
I was supposed to have it all.
I’d been Prom Queen, Cheer Captain - high school’s most savage Queen Bee. I could have everything I wanted.
Except them. The freaks, the weirdos, the school’s ultimate losers: Manson, Jason, Lucas, and Vincent. Our hatred for each other couldn’t keep us apart, not even when my own mistake got Manson expelled and made me the ultimate villain to the rest of them.
One night was supposed to be enough.
I couldn’t resist forever. For one night I gave myself over to the men I wasn’t supposed to want and satisfied the darkest parts of my soul. But some things are meant to stay in the dark. One night, and it was over.
Nothing more than a game.
Now, with college behind me, our worlds collide yet again. Four men, all willing to share me as their plaything until my debt to them is paid. Another game to satiate my dark cravings, the twisted rules of which bring us all even closer than before. But games aren’t meant to last.
When the debt is paid and the game is done, what if I don’t want to walk away?
30 - Eight Seconds to Fly by Grace McGinty
Tessa May Everett had grown up loving four things in life; bull riding, her father and her best frenemies, Branch and Beau. But in less than eight seconds, she’d lost all four things and the single most important person in her life.
Four years later, Tessa May is back and ready to reclaim her dreams. She was going to be the first woman to compete on the professional bull riding circuit, and nothing was going to stop her. Not the Boys Club that already held her to a different standard. Not the other riders who looked at her with barely veiled contempt. And certainly not the reappearance of her former crushes and now rivals.
With her best friend Frankie at her side, Tessa May was going to do what she’d dreamed of since she was a little girl; ride rank bulls in front of cheering crowds. And if she happened to ride a few cowboys on the way? Even better.
31 - BloodLust by Auryn Hadley
When Salryc Luxx turned eighteen, she bit a military officer. That was the first step.
To humans, her species is just another resource. Seen as little more than beasts, the lives of iliri and iliri crossbreds are cheap and easily replaced. Sal was raised as one of their pets and has spent her life dreaming of the day she can be free.
It won't be easy, but she has a piece of paper that admits her to the trials of the Black Blades, a group elite soldiers who do the jobs no one else can handle. Their success is exactly what she needs to prove her people are more than just something to throw away. Then a voice leaks into her mind. Evidently, there's a lot more her species has kept secret - and the Black Blades have been hiding it in plain sight this whole time.
She's going to have to change her plan. The sweet scent of humans, the lure to claim a mate, and her desire to see her commanding officer drop his eyes are becoming a problem. If she wants to prove that her people deserve freedom - that she deserves it - she has to stop acting like a beast. There's just one little problem.
Humans aren't her masters, they're her prey.
32 - Courting Darkness by Katie May & Quinn Arthurs
My whole life has been characterized by fighting.
Fighting my family.
And fighting for my life.
Trust me—the first one is completely voluntary, and a lot of fun. The second? Not so much.
To say my family dynamic is weird is the understatement of the century. I held my first sword when I was only five years old, and I learned how to dispose of a body before I turned ten.
I may have a penchant for pink and sparkles…but that doesn’t mean I don’t know how to kick major ass as well.
As if my life isn't complicated enough, my body is being ravaged by a chronic, mystery illness.
Seizures? Check. Passing out? Check. Agonizing pain? Check. A host of other unexplainable ailments? Double check.
After a change in my parents’ job takes us across the country, I find myself doing something I’ve never done before—attend an actual high school, despite my sickness.
But this school? Well…it’s a little weird...
I'm always turned around, and there's something happening I just can't put my finger on.
And don’t even get me started on my sexy as sin teacher and his equally as gorgeous twin brother. Or Tristan, who kind of reminds me of an energetic puppy. Or Kian, who has a harem of girls at his beck and call, despite seeming unhappy with his entire life. Or Foster and Gage, who are revered and feared in equal measure.
With a serial killer stalking the streets of this odd, little town, my new friends and family are on high alert.
One thing becomes clear…
Humans aren’t the only beings who walk this earth.
And if I don’t uncover the secrets of my new school, I may be the killer’s next victim.
33 - Book of the Dead by V.E.S Pullen
Azzie Vokaty is living a perfectly normal life in a perfectly normal small town in the midwest, dealing with a rare blood disorder alongside rude classmates and distant foster parents.
Except there is no “normal” anymore, not since the JANUS-23 pandemic decimated the world’s population.
And it isn’t a town, it’s a military base.
And Azzie isn’t exactly thrilled with the golden cage she’s living in.
The same day that sketchy, middle-aged men in cheap suits show up at her door, new faces appear in her orbit: a set of gorgeous, identical triplets at school, and a nosy new tech at the hospital…
All incredibly handsome faces. All of them seeming to pop up wherever she is.
Seriously, do they think she’s stupid?
34 - Red Handed by Kate King & Jessa Wilder
Forced to live with my ENEMIES.
They think they OWN ME.
But I own their HEARTS.
Nico, Rush, and Beck are the three leaders of The Gentlemen Mafia.
For my entire life, my family has been at war with their gang, splitting our city down the middle. They’re Violent, Possessive, and Psychotic.
When my sister is kidnapped, I have no choice but to turn to them. But to trust them is to risk it all.
35 - Gypsy Blood by Kristy Cunning
I'm not all that special, really. Or uncommon. I'm sure there are a lot of girls with old gypsy blood who see the dead, have killer cults hunting their family, and turn into something that gets scary when they panic. Yep. Completely unoriginal, if I do say so myself.
Move along. Nothing to see here. Nope. I'm just an ordinary girl.
I wish people would believe that.
I've been labeled as one thing or another for most of my life:
Death Girl.
Crazy Gypsy Girl.
Gothic Chick.
Monster...
It took my mother's death for me to finally start getting answers about what's really been going on. Unfortunately, most of the answers come from men...who aren't just men. Somehow, I've gone and landed myself in a world truly filled with monsters, and I'm starting to think this is where I should have been all along.
Only...I don't understand what's going on. I'm walking into the middle of a story that's thousands of years old, and I'm the new girl on the block who doesn't have a clue how this world even works. My only guides happen to be the most lethal of the bunch.
They decide who lives or dies. They decide who gets stabbed or tortured.
Yeah...
I've gone and drawn attention to myself, and the ones paying attention are the ones everyone else seems to fear.
How do these things always happen to me?

37 - Chaotic by T.S. Snow
Battle Mage or Magical Engineer?
Easy choice, right?
Engineer. Obviously.
I'm Charisma Carter, tech genius and nerd extraordinaire.
I actually used to be Charisma Silverstorm, member of one of the six elite Arcane Families,
until my family shunned me when I turned 18 because my magic wasn't strong enough.
However, where I lack in magic I more than make up for with the tech I develop, if I do say so myself.
Apparently, I'm not the only one.
From the minute I received my diploma as a magical engineer, it seems like my world has turned upside down.
Now members of all six families are competing to get me to work for them.
They're willing to use anything, from bribes to charm. It's not enough that the heirs to Arcane are walking sex gods,
they also have a lot of money and exceptional magical skills.
As our paths intertwine, I have to try to stay true to who I am, who I've always been, and not succumb to their charms.
But how can a girl resist when the future she always dreamed of is right at her fingertips?
38 - Reckless Souls by K.C. Kean
I’ve walked the streets of Phoenix Valley for twenty two years knowing exactly who I am - an orphan, a human, a nobody. Summoned by The Hex to test my humanity, I was prepared to fail, destined to be the same mundane girl …

I was wrong. Pandora’s Box called to me, sensing a magic I never knew existed. With my world turned upside down and full of possibilities, I must now call Paradise Heights home. To live amongst supernaturals, attend Saints Academy, and find my place.

Curiosity has me willing to give this a try, but the Elites of Saints Academy tempt to distract me, and that’s something I can’t afford. Xander is gruff, Khaos cold, Zen soothing, and Adonis … lives up to his name.

Angel, Demon, God, Vampire, Shifter. I could be anything, anyone. I have three years to figure out who I’m meant to be…

Let the countdown begin.

40 - When Monsters Lie by Debbie Cassidy
The world went to shit the day I was born.
They say fire rained from the sky for seven days signalling the arrival of the monsters.
They say humanity fought hard to beat them.
They say the celestials saved us.
They say a lot of things.
Me? I deal in the present. In scouting for useful things and keeping my team alive outside the protective walls of our base. I might not have a fancy monster-killing blade like the Sweepers do, but I’ve avoided getting my face eaten off so far, so I call that a win.
But when my base is taken by monsters, my scout skills are the only thing standing between imminent demise and survival.
Sanctuary lies across the deadlands—monster infested territory, unmapped and uncharted even by the celestials. It’s the only route, and I have no choice but to navigate my people through it.
I’m a scout, a survivor. I got this.
Until I haven’t.
The last thing I expect is to be relying on four monsters for protection. But fate obviously has a sense of humor. Shemyaza and his scouts are intelligent, deathly, and lethal, and turns out they’re the only ones who can lead us to safety.
Only problem is, their aid comes with a hefty price.
Me.
